Okay, so can we talk about how underrated Black nail techs are in Phoenix? Like, seriously. Everybody runs to their favorite nail spot, but I feel like the Black nail artists out here are lowkey killing the game — and not nearly enough people are giving them their flowers. The talent? Insane. The creativity? Next level. The vibe? Always unmatched.
I’ve been peeking at a few nail techs’ work, and let me just say… these ladies are serving art, precision, and personality all in one. So if you’ve been looking to switch things up, step your nail game up, or simply support Black excellence in the beauty world, let me put you on real quick:
@50.shadesofjayx2 (Chandler)
Jay is out in Chandler making magic on fingertips. The detail work? Crazy. Whether you’re into bold designs or clean classy sets, Jay’s page feels like scrolling through a catalog of endless inspiration.
@beautybyt.llc (Phoenix)
If you’re in Phoenix, you don’t have to look far. Beauty By T has that crisp, polished style that makes every set look like it should be in an editorial shoot. She knows how to make nails pop without doing “too much.”
@bbarbienailedit (Tempe)
B Barbie in Tempe? A whole vibe. Her sets are playful, sharp, and fun — the kind of nails that people will literally stop you to ask, “Who did your nails?” And you already know the answer.
@tntnails_ (El Mirage, AZ)
Over in El Mirage, TNT Nails is holding it down with those versatile looks. From acrylic masterpieces to chic minimalism, they’re giving you the best of both worlds.
@slayed.by.lynnae (Surprise, AZ)
Lynnae is out in Surprise, and let me tell you, the name says it all: slayed. Her work is sleek, sharp, and perfect for when you want that “put-together” look that still has personality.
@nailsbyyamine (North Phoenix)
North Phoenix is lucky to have Yamine. Her nail art is both creative and precise — she’s one of those techs where you can show her a Pinterest inspo pic, and she’ll somehow make it even better.
@mayadidthem_ (Mesa, AZ)
Maya in Mesa? Listen. The girl knows what she’s doing. Her designs are clean, trendy, and versatile. Whether you want short and natural or long and dramatic, Maya can handle it.
@therealdripnails
And of course, Drip Nails. The name alone should tell you the vibe — glossy, clean, and straight drip. If you want nails that are bold enough to be an accessory by themselves, this is the page to follow.
Honestly, this list just scratches the surface. The Black nail tech scene in Phoenix and the surrounding areas is overflowing with talent, and it deserves way more shine. If you’ve been sleeping on them, here’s your little wake-up call. Your next set might just be your best set — because trust me, these ladies don’t miss.
