Black-Owned Vegan Eats in Phoenix: Complete List

11/20/2025 | 3 Min. Read

Lately I’ve been paying more attention to what I eat, not trying to become a full-time vegan overnight, but just being more intentional. Eating cleaner, adding more plant-based meals, and still keeping everything flavorful because… yeah, I’m not eating bland food for anybody.

And honestly? Seeing Black-owned businesses leading the vegan and plant-based lane here in Phoenix makes it even easier. It’s one thing to try to eat better, but it hits different when the food comes from people who understand seasoning, culture, and comfort. The plates still feel familiar, still feel like us, just with a healthier twist.

So if you’re trying to get into plant-based eating, or you just want to switch things up without feeling like you’re missing out on anything, here are some spots you should definitely keep in rotation:

🌱 Vegan

Hot Sauce & Pepper (Food Truck)

This food truck stays delivering heat, literally and figuratively. Cauliflower wings, soul food classics, all vegan but still packed with real flavor. The kind of food that makes you double-check like, “Wait… this is vegan?”
